Whiz Kids: Seneca Valley Honors Teen Firefighters

These high schoolers are doing their homework while learning how to fight fires.

On Monday, officials recognized volunteer firefighters—who also happen to still be in high school.

The following volunteers were honored Monday at the Seneca Valley School Board meeting. Superintendent Dr. Tracy Vitale also presented each firefighter with a certificate of recognition.

I had the privilege of meeting these kids last night, and I could tell by the brightness in their eyes and the excitement on their faces that they're destined for great things! Recognizing the accomplishments of our kids is the BEST part of being a school director!
