View It: Cranberry’s "Most Wanted" List

The township releases photos, addresses and more of people with active arrest warrants.

You’ve heard of America’s Most Wanted—now Cranberry has its own version.

On Monday, the township added a “Cranberry’s Most Wanted” feature to its website.

"I think the police department felt there was a need for it," township manager Jerry Andree said. "As everyone knows, public awareness is one of the best ways to find people."

The “Most Wanted” section features the photos and home addresses of people with active arrest warrants from the Cranberry Township Police Department. It also includes the crimes the individuals are charged with.

“Our primary goal is to continue to make both Cranberry Township and the borough of Seven Fields safe and secure communities for everyone who lives, works, or visits the area,” a statement on the site said. “You can help us by serving as active observers.”

Residents are warned not to approach or attempt to apprehend any of the suspects.

“Any wanted person should be considered dangerous,” the site stated.

Andree said the police department requested the township upload the suspects to the homepage last week. The site likely will be updated as people are added or taken off the list of active arrest warrants, Andree said.

The township's communications team also is tweeting and giving Facebook updates about the Most Wanted list.

"We know social media is one of the most important means of communication," Andree said.

Anyone with information on the people listed on the site is asked to call Cranberry police at 724-776-5180, ext. 5 or dial 9-1-1. Tips may be emailed tips@cranberrytownship.org

Police also ask anyone with knowledge of the immediate whereabouts of one of the suspects to call 9-1-1 to report the information.
