Update: Wreckage Cleared After Tractor Trailer Accident Snarls Traffic on I-79

Traffic Tuesday morning was backed up beyond Pennsylvania Turnpike Interchange.

A jack-knifed tractor-trailer Tuesday morning created big delays for southbound commuters on Interstate 79.

The wreckage has since been cleared an all lanes are open again. 

The accident occurred in the middle of rush hour in southbound lanes at the 75-mile marker, which is about two miles south of the Pennsylvania turnpike.

Traffic was backed up beyond the turnpike interchange.

There are no reports of any injuries and the cause is under investigation.
