Police Searching for Portersville Bank Robber

The suspect was last seen Monday driving east on Route 488.

State police are asking for help in finding the man who robbed the First National Bank in Portersville on Monday.

Police said that about 10 a.m. Monday, a white man wearing a bright orange ski mask concealing his face walked into the First National Bank on Perry Highway and demanded that bank employees give him money.

He left the bank with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

The suspect is described as 5 foot 7 inches to 5 foot 10 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. He also had a neatly trimmed brown moustache, police said.

After leaving the bank, he was seen driving south in a gold Toyota Corolla before making a left onto Route 488 East.
