Missing Mars Area Student Located Near Montour High School

Robinson Police search for several hours before the teen, who has special needs, turns up along Clever Road.

After Robinson Township Police searched for him for several hours Thursday night, a missing Mars Area School District student turned up on a hillside outside Montour High School.

The 13-year-old boy went missing before 8 p.m. after taking part in a wrestling match at Montour. Police  said he turned up after 11 p.m. and was sent to Heritage Valley Sewickley hospital to be evaluated.

Robinson Police Chief Dale Vietmeier said the boy is a special-needs student. He ran away after a dispute with his parents following the wrestling match.
