Harmony Man Dies in Truck Accident

Howard Miller dies from head injuries after losing control of his truck on Yellow Creek Road in Muddy Creek Township.

A Harmony man has died of head injuries after the truck he was driving overturned in Muddy Creek Township Saturday.

Howard Miller, 70, was driving on Yellow Creek Road at about 7:30 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway, according to state police at Butler. According to troopers, Miller was “traveling at a high rate of speed.”

Police said Miller lost control of the truck, which slid off the roadway and overturned after striking numerous trees.

The Butler County Coroner pronounced him dead at the scene at 8:40 p.m.
