Cranberry Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash in Beaver County

Phillip Masterson died Monday night in New Sewickley Township.

A Cranberry Township man was killed Monday evening after a motorcycle crash in nearby New Sewickley Township.

Police in New Sewickley Township said that about 10 p.m. Phillip Masterson, 36, was riding east on Glen Eden Road in Beaver County about a half-mile from the Cranberry border. Masterson lost control of his bike while heading around a curve and his bike went off the  road, police said.

Masterson struck a PennDOT sign and was thrown from his motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at in Cranberry.
