Bomb Threat Tuesday at McKesson Turns Out to Be False Alarm

There was a partial evacuation at the building after an employee suffering an adverse reaction to medication thought she heard a bomb.

Things are back normal Wednesday at after a bomb threat caused a partial evacuation of its building in the Cranberry Woods Business Park Tuesday evening.

Sgt. Chuck Mascellino said were called to the business, which produces health care automation technologies, at about 8 p.m. after a female employee said she heard a bomb in the building.

Upon arrival, police discovered the woman, whose name is not being released, was suffering an adverse reaction to medication she had taken.

“She was hallucinating,” Mascellino said.

After an investigation around the building, police cleared employees to return to work at about 9:30 p.m.
