7-Eleven in Pine Township Robbed by Armed Man Wearing Ski Mask

Northern Regional Police Department is investigating.

"The individual displayed a handgun and pointed it at the clerk, demanding money," said Amann. The 10 p.m. incident took place at the 7-Eleven located at the intersection of Bakerstown Road and Babcock Boulevard.

"The individual demanded money from the clerk. As she opened the register, he went behind the counter and took the money," Amann said. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken, he said.

The same individual is suspected of robbing a Dollar General Store in Chicora on Saturday night, Amann said. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating that robbery and working with Northern Regional on the 7-Eleven robbery, said Amann.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, and about 5 feet 4 inches tall, Amann said. He was wearing a large plaid grayish hoodie sweatshirt with the plaid outlined in black and white, khaki pants, tennis shoes, gloves and a black ski mask, according to Amann.

Although armed robberies are rare in Pine Township, Amann said this 7-Eleven has been robbed in the past.
