Local's Love you More Block Party to Celebrate the start of Farm Season 2013

Saturday, May 25th marks the kick off of the local Farm Market Season at the Local's Love you More Block Party being held at McGinnis Sisters Special Food Stores on Route 228 in Adams Township.   In attendance will be local farmers, sign ups for the PASA Bike Fresh Bike Local ride happening June 2nd, outdoor grilling of the new Ukranian style Sheep Casing Hot Dog produced by Pat McGinnis, music, food tastings and fun as well as specially designed Mars T-shirts from Fresh Factory.  

The Pennsylvania Association of Sustanable Agriculture (PASA) has been in In existence since 1992 and works  to bring farmers together to learn from each other, and to build relationships between those farmers and consumers looking for fresh, wholesome, locally and sustainably produced food.  McGinnis Sisters Special Food Stores works diligently with local farmers to provide a fair and sustainable marketplace to connect their products to consumers.
