From Your Patch Editor: Thank You, Readers

Well, it’s been a wonderful ride.

Tuesday, Oct. 15, will be my last day as editor of Cranberry Patch. Patch is reorganizing and the plan does not include having local editors oversee the Pittsburgh Patch sites.

I have no regrets. It's been a delight to cover the community in which I live for the past three years. Your kind words at meetings and events, your news tips and your comments are all deeply appreciated.

This job has allowed me to meet some terrific people and cover some amazing stories. Truly, this is a special community.

With that said, I still strongly believe in hyper-local news. In the coming months (including a break once my first baby is born in December), I plan to continue to report on the happenings in the Cranberry area from another platform.

In the meantime, Cranberry Patch is not going away.

Patch is reviewing alternatives for some of its sites, including this one, so rest assured you will still be able to continue to use your Patch to post your blogs, events and announcements.

If you'd like to stay in touch, I can be reached at Jessica.Sinichak@acrosscranberry.com.

I hope to hear from you. See you around town!
