Those students in grades 9 through 12 will present the musical “Hubba! Hubba!,” which is an original stage show written by one of the staff members. Both productions are family friendly.

“Narnia” is the story of four children, Susan, Lucy, Edmond and Peter, whose lives are forever changed because of their inquisitiveness. Growing up in Britain during World War II, the children have to move away and live with their uncle in the countryside.

They play happily in the safety of his home until they are drawn into a magical world of wonder – the land of Narnia.

Everyone they meet is a stranger.  All appear to be friendly, but some are actually very evil and dangerous. The children learn about kindness, fear, courage, treachery, sacrifice and forgiveness.

C.S. Lewis has woven a classic tale of good triumphing over evil that wraps both children and adults in its deeper magic. Come experience the magic that “Narnia” has to offer from April 18 – April 28.

“Hubba! Hubba!” is the crazy WWII adventures of Betty Bumpkin, America’s secret weapon. This production is full of music and comedy! Relive the 1940s from May 1 – May 5.

ACT ONE offers a family atmosphere that not only provides an exceptional theatre education, but also helps foster the kids involved become caring and compassionate human beings.

The success of the students from ACT ONE can be seen from the East Coast on Broadway to the West Coast in TV and film production. While many of ACT ONE’s students began as actors, some have found their calling in other areas of entertainment working the technical work of productions or writing, casting and producing.
