Cranberry Caring Center: Food Drive and more

The Rotary Club of Cranberry Township - Sunrise is committed to serving the needs of our community and will be partnering with the Gleaners Food Bank to help them serve residents of our community that are in need.

Donations of food and paper products are being accepted daily from February 1 through March 31 at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center on Rochester Road. Donations may be placed in the designated container located in the Caring Center near the administrative offices.

The items that are most needed are as follows: Cereal, canned chicken and tuna, pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter, toothpaste and toothbrushes, laundry detergent, paper products and soap and shampoo.

Also, please check expiration dates, the Food Bank is not permitted to accept items past their expiration date.

There will also be a collection day at the Cranberry Township Walmart on Sunday, March 27.

If you would also like to make a monetary donation, please make your check payable to the “Gleaners Food Bank” and mail it to the Cranberry Township Rotary Club - Sunrise, P.O. Box 1583, Cranberry Township, PA 16066.

Other collections for the month of February at the Cranberry Caring Center (collection bins right across from Customer Service in Municipal Center) include Shoe Collection- donations will go to Salvation Army or the Nike program for playgrounds, Cell Phones for Soldiers and the Teen Clothing Drive (Feb 13- 27 only) to benefit VOICE.
