“Promised Land”

The Legacy Lineup presents a free movie event
in August! When corporate salesman Steve
Butler (Matt Damon) arrives in a rural town with his sales partner Sue Thomason
(Frances McDormand), they see that the town and its residents have been hit
hard by the recent economic decline. The two partners are optimistic that the
townspeople will accept their company’s offer for drilling rights to their
properties as much-needed relief.
