FREE BIKES for disadvantaged local youths (2 - 12) years old

Lizzy’s Bikes Provides FREE Bikes to Local Needy Children

Most of us can remember the first time we rode a bike. The thrill, excitement, and sense of accomplishment made it one of those magical moments in life. Thanks to Lizzy’s Bikes, many children who might never have gotten to experience the magic of their first bike are now getting that chance.

Lizzy’s Bikes, a Kiwanis Club of Mars community action program, provides new or next-to-new bikes and safety equipment to children of economically disadvantaged families. “Many people simply can’t afford the means to give their children what many take for granted,” says Brian Kutchma, President of Lizzy’s Bikes. “We think every child should experience the thrill and excitement of owning a bike. A bicycle empowers a child, giving the child his or her first taste of true independence, self-reliance, and self-esteem. More importantly, it provides a child with hours of fun and many happy memories.”
