Art Show and Sale at the Cranberry Public Library

A Patron Art Show is up with over 100 pieces of artwork in six

categories to peruse.  Local residents, young and old put photographs, paintings, bead
work, wire works, and much more on display for the chance to win a
beautiful ribbon.
The public is encouraged to go to the library and

purchase a $1.00 voting ballot to help choose the six winners.  This is a

new fundraiser for the Library and so far it has been a lot of fun.

Come make a child smile and vote for their artwork!  Make the library

staff smile and purchase multiple voting ballots, a win-win situation.

There are also many artwork pieces for sale and the artists are donating

a portion of the sales back to the library.  In fact, an artist who

wishes to remain anonymous has offered to donate 50% of the sale back to

the library.  This well-known artist and a granddaughter collaborated

on four pieces that would look great in an office or home.
Even the
library hamster, Nugget, got into the spirit of the Art Show and

entered some of his very own artwork!  You've got to stop in and see his colorful creations!  Come see what all the hub-bub is about; you'll be glad you did!
The big "Reveal" Party is Friday, February 28th at 7:00 PM.  The winners will be announced during a punch and cookies reception.
