Bryan Gratton, pastor of adult ministries, said the church was looking for more ways to give back to the community and thought this would be a great idea. The idea came from a sister church in California.

"This is the first time we have done this event and we definitely plan on doing it again next year," Gratton said.

Attendees were able to choose from free formal dresses and free or reduced-price tuxedos.

Gratton said each guest will get their hair done at a local salon, along with make-up and manicures for the ladies. They will also ride in a limousine to the mansion before arriving on a red carpet, just like Hollywood celebrities.

As the guests walk the red carpet, dozens of “paparazzi” will line up clamoring for a picture, Gratton said.

Once inside, they'll have formal pictures taken and be entertained my a magician, balloon artist and origami artist.

In addition, Miss Wheelchair America, Josie Badger, will be speaking to everyone about overcoming obstacles.

Everyone will also have an opportunity to get on the dance floor until 10 p.m. and walk away with a swag bag of goodies contributed by local businesses and organizations. Some guests will even win prizes that have been donated for the event.
