Look Out for Lane Restrictions Along I-79 Today

Be on the lookout for lane closures along the Parkway North today.

According to PennDOT, there will be single lane closures along Interstate-279 in both directions between the Camp Horne Road and Interstate-79 interchanges as crews replace pavement markings.

PennDOT press officer Jim Struzzi said the work would occur as a slow-moving operation and require short-term single lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday.

PennDOT advised drivers to use caution, slow down, and expect changing traffic patterns when traveling through the area. Drivers also may log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions on major roadways before traveling.
