Hail Hits Cranberry Area

Upload your photos of the ice bits here.

Sure, Wednesday was the Fourth of July, but it wasn’t just fireworks rattling people’s windows.

At about 11:30 p.m. golf ball-sized—and in some cases larger—hail began to nail the area.  The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the area until midnight. The region will remain under a thunderstorm watch until 2 a.m.

Cranberry Patch editor Jessica Sinichak captured this video of the hail splashing into her pool. How did your home fare? Did you take photos of the ice bits? Share them here by clicking the “Upload Videos and Photos” button.
