Cranberry Drivers May Run Into Delays on I-79 in Butler County

PennDOT issues a Traffic Advisory.

PennDOT advises motorists traveling I-79 North and South in Jackson, Muddy Creek, and Lancaster Townships should expect congestion and delays in high-volume traffic periods.

According to the Advisory, the passing lane is closed on I-79 North and South between mile marker 86 and mile marker 87 in the area between Exit 87 (SR 68 - Zelienople) and Exit 91 (SR 3025 Seneca Valley).  The lane restrictions will be in place for the next several months to facilitate work on a five-bridge preservation project.

PennDOT reminds motorists to slow down, minimize distractions, and drive responsibly in work zones.
