Community Sign Comes to Cranberry
The electronic sign is located at the intersection of Route 228 with Route 19.
You may have noticed a new addition to the corner of Route 228 and Route 19 in front of UPMC Passavant Cranberry.
Over the last few days, workers have been installing a 12-foot wide electronic sign that will display community events.
The sign was the 2010 community project of a coalition of partners, including the two Cranberry Rotary clubs, The CHAMBER Inc., the Lions Club, Cranberry Township Community Chest, UPMC and Cranberry Township. Together, they raised $120,000 for the project.
