Bradley Livezey Dies in Route 910 Accident

Wexford resident was curator at Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh.

Bradley Livezey was known for his work with birds.

A curator at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh, the 56-year-old Wexford resident died Tuesday morning in a on Route 910 in Pine Township.

Livezey received his doctorate in 1985 from the University of Kansas, where he also received his master of arts degree in 1984. He also earned a master of science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he studied in the wildlife ecology department.

He earned his bachelor's degree in 1976 from Oregon State University.

His research interests included the evolution of avian flightlessness and avian paleontology.
