Cranberry Girl Scouts Troops 20074, 20447, 20761, 21921 and 25141 collected 1,000 of the donated articles. Jennifer Richart, Girl Scout leader and Cranberry Neighborhood Service Team member, coordinated the efforts of the five troops that meet at the church and challenged them to collect at least 100 articles each in celebration of the Girl Scouts 100th anniversary in March.

The girls’ efforts multiplied from there.
