71st Day of 100 Days of Caring

Two scouts represent Cranberry Township in two different projects for 100 Days of Caring.

On Sunday, Feb. 12, two local Girl Scouts completed two very different projects for the 100 Days of Caring initiative.

Ella Ward, of Cranberry Troop 20754, conducted a Valentine candy drive for Light of Life Rescue Mission. Candy and some cash donations were presented to Cindy Shafer, director of development for the Light of Life Rescue Mission.

Sabra Richart of Cranberry Troop 20074 volunteered at the Community Day School Tu B'Shevat celebration in Squirrel Hill.  Tu B'Shevat is an annual celebration of the birth of trees and the event focuses on environmental awareness and sustainability.
