27th Day of 100 Days of Caring by Cranberry Girl Scouts

Sabra Richart (Cadette Troop 20457) and Alena Richart (Daisy Troop 20074) visited Maria at a local nursing home on Dec. 30 as part of the Presents for Patients program.  

We took Maria three gifts and spent some time just visiting with her. Maria shared stories with the girls about her childhood in Germany and the family that she still has there. She even taught Sabra and Alena how to say "Merry Christmas" in German.
