Positions are available in Cranberry Township and Chippewa area. Automotive title experience and current notary license is preferred, but we would be willing to train the right person. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or hospitality preferred. High School Diploma required. Minimum 3 years food/beverage supervisory or management experience, preferably in a fine dining setting. Demonstrated expertise with wine, cocktails, beer and other beverages required. Must have a strong understanding of operational controls, wine service, budgeting, forecasting, menu engineering, sales and marketing. Must have excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word). Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills including telephone communication. Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills. Should be able to handle multiple tasks, set priorities and work independently.

Warehouse Worker - Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Cranberry

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for building product orders for outgoing loads for placement on route delivery trucks in an accurate and safe manner. The job requirements are:

  1. Load route trucks and semi-trailers with propane or battery-operated forklift and/or pallet jack, moving product in and out of the warehouse.
  2. Move product to storage areas using the proper equipment.
  3. Stack and store merchandise in the appropriate area according to established sequences and procedures.
  4. Document all material transfers, shipments and movements electronically and/or on appropriate forms.
  5. Ensure items are stored in an orderly and accessible manner.
  6. Review orders for shipment and assemble the correct types of merchandise to be shipped.
  7. Maintain cleanliness in assigned area.

Laboratory Technician Job—BASF, Evans City

The CI business unit has an opportunity for a QA/QC lab technician located at its Evans City manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include: Analyzing BASF products, intermediates, and raw materials to assure and document that products meet BASF specifications and customer requirements; operating BASF QC instrumentation in a safe, professional manner; following established quality, safety, and environmental procedures and policies; communicating unusual product observations or analytical results during analysis or sample handling to assure potential quality issues identified, reviewed and resolved prior to release of product; and communicating specific information with regard to product information from R&D, PPD, or production.

Inside Garden Store Seasonal Employee—Lowe's, Cranberry

Responsible for providing quick, friendly customer service by answering customers questions, providing purchase assistance and keeping shelves stocked. Assigned primarily to one zone on the sales floor, but may be required to work in other areas. Requires morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of the week. Ability to operate, demonstrate and explain merchandise in assigned area. Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and knowledge of weights and measures. Understand and respond appropriately to basic customer and employee inquiries. Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions.
