Desktop Technician—Butler Health System, Butler

Under direct supervision of the desktop technician's supervisor, the position is responsible for the installation, support, and effective operation of microcomputers throughout BHS. Also provides PC application software support, conducts ad-hoc user training and performs software updates and system maintenance.

An Associates Degree in computer science/technology is required. A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Technology is preferred.

Other requirements included working knowledge of microcomputers and current operating systems, plus excellent communication skills. Prior healthcare information systems support experience is preferred.

Housekeeper—Private Cranberry area home

General housekeeping and errands for busy professional couple to include scrubbing floors, vacuuming carpets, cleaning bathrooms, making beds, doing laundry and steaming and ironing clothes for two people, making a couple of simple meals a week, must like and care for small dogs.

In owner’s absence during work hours, duties include running errands to post office, bank, dry cleaners, dog groomer and grocery store.

Hours are flexible. However, part-time at 20 to 25 hours per week during weekdays is required, either mornings or afternoons at employee's preference, not before 9:30 a.m. Salary is negotiable.

Package Delivery Driver—UPS, Cranberry

UPS is hiring individuals to work as full-time, temporary, seasonal package delivery drivers. This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 to 35 pounds and may weigh up to 70 pounds. A DOT physical exam is required.

Package delivery drivers must have excellent customer contact and driving skills, including the ability to operate a vehicle equipped with a standard (manual) transmission.

Qualified applicants must have a valid driver’s license issued in the state that they live. Package delivery drivers are expected to comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.

Full-time UPS employees work eight or more hours each weekday (Monday through Friday) and typically do not work on weekends or selected holidays.

Training Coordinator—Shell, Warrendale

Responsible for developing and executing tactical plans relative to the training strategy as approved by line management and OCA Coordinator.

Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to producing operation,operators and craft personnel for the assigned site. Introduce skill assessments and train personnel to demonstrate skill at the requisite level of competency using the skill assessment as evidence.

Provide level one OCA support to client base. Attend 3rd party training courses to evaluate relevance to asset. Maintaining applicable processes, tools and activities required in the training delivery. Training Focal Point reports to the Process Improvement Lead for the Asset.

The field operating experience requirement is seven years minimum plus an additional three years as an area trainer/SME. The application deadline is Thursday, March 28, 2013.
