Office Associate— WESCO Distribution, Inc., Warrendale

The office associate schedules appointments, gives information to callers and otherwise relieves managers of clerical work and minor administrative and business details.

Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, transcription, designing forms and other office procedures and terminology is preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong computer skills, a high school degree or equivalent also is required.

Veterinary Assistant—Banfield Pet Hospital, Cranberry

The veterinary assistant supports the veterinarians and veterinary technicians in ensuring quality care for all pets, advocates for pets, educates clients on all aspects of pet health and ensures a safe and effective hospital environment.

The assistant also educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care, pet health needs, hospital services and other issues. The assistant obtains relevant information and history from clients and maintains proper and complete medical charts.

Certificate of completion from a NAVTA approved veterinary assistant program, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Continuous Improvement Specialist—Mine Safety Appliances, Cranberry

This person will assist with the creation and roll out of improvement initiatives and programs throughout all of MSA’s global manufacturing facilities, as well as participating on high-visibility, enterprise-wide improvement projects. 

Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business from an ABET accredited program required. Operational Excellence minor preferred.

Gallery Host—Hyatt Place, Cranberry

The gallery host creates an experience for hotel guests by offering them a larger than home experience with welcoming, helpful and exceptional service, while maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment. This position is responsible for the complete guest experience, including the Gallery Host Stand, the Bakery Café, the Guest Kitchen, the e-room and the TV den, guest check in and out and the servicing of the meeting rooms.

Previous guest service experience as well as the ability to communicate well with guests is required.

Off Hours Stock Crew—Toys R Us, Cranberry

The off hour stock clerk is responsible for maintaining a well-stocked appearance in the store. The hours for this shift are commonly early morning, however, in certain locations or during holiday seasons, overnight shifts may be available.

Responsibilities include the physical removal of goods from a truck and putting empty pallets, security cages, and transfers back on the truck and re-merchandising any selling space to regroup items or to make space for new merchandise.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and climb ladders up to 12 feet high.
