What's Closed on Memorial Day?

Township and government offices in Cranberry are closed.

In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, government offices in Cranberry Townships will be closed on Monday.

Seneca Valley also will be closed, as will Butler County, state and federal offices and courts. Banks and liquor stores will not be open either.

The U.S. Postal Service will not have regular mail delivery or collection, but Express Mail will be delivered.

Waste Management, which collects trash and recycling for Cranberry, will be closed Monday. Trash and recycling collection will be delayed one day this week. 

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation driver's license and photo centers will be closed, although some services will be available on its website.

The Port Authority of Allegheny County's bus, T and incline service will operate on holiday schedules for Memorial Day.

Port Authority's customer service phone line will operate on holiday hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, and the downtown service center will be closed.

Some bus routes will be detoured over the holiday due to parades and other community events. Riders should check with customer service or Port Authority’s website for detours on their route.

Individuals with disabilities presenting a disabled or handicapped person's Medicare card or Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Reduced Transit Fare card will pay half-fare on Memorial Day.
