Christopher Bell Concert

Enjoy some live music at the Wunderbar Coffee House this Saturday, Sept. 14 from 3 to 4 p.m. Musician Christopher Bell is taking the stage to perform with his electric cello. His upbeat and lively music is accompanied with beat boxing and electric piano. 

Bell resides in Jamestown, New York, and is known for his unique and environmentally friendly modes of tour transportation. 


Veteran Recognition Night

Pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of retired and active military personnel in the area. The Seneca Valley School District is honoring area war veterans at the football game against North Allegheny on Friday, Sept. 13. 

At 6 p.m., veterans will gather at the Stadium Fieldhouse to put American flag stickers on the helmets of the varsity football players.

At 7 p.m., veterans will head to the tent area at the visitor gate to march down the home side of the track for recognition. 

The Holidays Oldies Concert

Get your groove on and listen to the tunes of your youth as The Holidays perform classic oldies hits this Saturday, Sept. 14, from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. The band will play songs from the 50s, 60s and 70s.

Cost is $20 if you purchase your ticket in advance, or $25 at the door. Proceeds from the concert benefit the Glade Run Lake Conservancy to restore Glade Run Lake in southern Butler County.

Free Car Seat Checks

Cranberry Township Public Safety agencies are hosting a free Fall Car Seat Check on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the CTVFD Fire Station on Route 19.

Each seat takes about a half hour to properly inspect. To make an appointment to have your seats checked call 724-776-4380 ext. 4.
