Inside the Store

Jack Barnes, general merchandise manager for Field & Stream, said about 100 people were hired for the Cranberry location.

Many of the employees are experts in their outdoor sport, including archery and fishing.

“We absolutely wanted to hire those who are really focused on this customer,” Barnes said.

Barnes said each sporting section of the store, from the gun shop to apparel, can act as its own small shop. The store also include an indoor archery range where customers can try out bows.

Besides Field & Stream, the store also carries a number of national brands.

"This is built for the outdoor customer,” Barnes said.

Field & Stream is located at 1000 Cranberry Square Drive in the former Dick’s Sporting Goods
