This week's restaurant spotlight is on Off The Hook, located at 908 Warrendale Village Drive, Warrendale.

Formerly the owners of the Monterey Bay Fish Grotto, Glenn and Lisa Hawley opened Off the Hook in June along Route 19.

The new, expansive, restaurant features an open oyster bar, where guests can observe chefs shucking the oysters, as well as an extensive wine by the glass program.

Another unique concept is the chef’s table inside the kitchen, where guests will have a front seat as the chef prepares their favorite dishes.

When the Wexford-based couple decided to call the restaurant “Off the Hook,” they meant just that. Fresh fish from everywhere from Hawaii to Alaska is flown in daily to the restaurant.

Besides seafood, Off the Hook offers USDA Prime steaks, vegetarian and gluten free options.
