This week's restaurant spotlight is on Luciano’s Italian Brick Oven, located at 161 Scharberry Lane in Adams Township.

Opened in May 2011 by the Pasquarelli family, the restaurant specializes in authentic Italian fare.

All of the pasta, lasagna and other assorted dishes featured at the 8,600 square-foot restaurant and banquet facility are recipes handed down from owner Dan Pasquarelli’s ancestors.

After opening his original Luciano’s in White Oak more than 35 years ago, Pasquarelli and his family today operate Luciano’s restaurants in Bethel Park, Penn Township, McCandless Township and Squirrel Hill.

The Luciano’s appetizer menu features classic Italian appetizers, such as stuffed hot peppers and fried zucchini. Entrees include Pasta Diavolo, a mixture of alfredo, marinara and meatball sauces kicked up a notch with banana peppers and chunky slices of sausage, and homemade lasagna.
