This week's restaurant spotlight is on Domenico’s Ristorante, located at 20550 Route 19 in Cranberry.
The family-owned Italian restaurant has been in business since the 1970s. It has a multitude of dishes that range from eggplant parmigiana and lasagna to chicken, veal and more. It also offers salads, prime rib and burgers.
The restaurant, which grew from a single pizza shop named Roma, still makes its sauce and pizza dough fresh daily using the original secret family recipe, according to the owners.

Domenico’s also has a large bar with more than 200 bottled beers and 20 beers on tap. There also is an outdoor dining during the warmer weather a banquet area for large parties.
The restaurant is well known for its changing sign placed outside the restaurant that displays comedic messages, which have sometimes led to controversy.
