New Sheetz Opens Up on Route 19 And Ehrman Road

Cranberry area residents have a new place to stop for gas and goods.

After months of construction, which included the grading of a steep hillside, the new Sheetz at the intersection of Route 19 and Ehrman Road is now open.

The 16-pump gas station and convenience store, which includes an outdoor patio, officially began welcoming customers Thursday.

It is the second Sheetz to open in Cranberry within a year.

Last September, a new Sheetz, built from the ground up, opened on Freedom Road. It replaced an older, smaller Sheetz located just up the road.

The developers from Sheetz also help fund a traffic signal at the intersection of Ehrman Road and Route 19.

Jason Kratsas, Cranberry’s director of engineering, has said developers contributed about $600,000 for the traffic signal and road project, which was managed by the township.
