Market District in Pine Plans to Hire 50 More Employees

Market District is looking for people to fill 50 positions at its Pine Township store, which

"Job growth continues to exist in Pittsburgh’s North Hills. The new store in the Township of Pine will employ a total of 350 and will continue to hire for 50 unfilled positions, including food professionals, stock clerks, cashiers, guest services and greeters," said Dick Roberts of Roberts Communications in an emailed media advisory. His firm handles communications for Giant Eagle.

To apply, prospective employees should visit the store in the Village at Pine near the intersection of Route 19/Perry Highway and Route 910. The address is 155 Towne Centre Drive in Wexford.

The Pine store is the fifth Market District in the Giant Eagle chain. The others are in the South Hills, Shadyside, Robinson and Columbus OH.

The upscale grocery store offers foods from around the world, a wide selection of fresh produce, unique meats and seafood, cooking demonstrations and more.
