Last-Minute Father's Day Gift Ideas in Cranberry

It's not too late to find the perfect present.

Father's Day is June 16 this year. Yes, that's this Sunday.

If you haven't gotten a present for ol' pops yet, there's still a little time left. We went to our Cranberry Patch Facebook page to get some help.

One reader said she found a $200 drill on sale at Lowe's for $99. You can't go wrong with tools, right?

Another reader bought wooden letters from Michael's to spell out "Dad,"  took of a picture of her son holding up each letter and will place the photos side-by-side so it spells "Dad." Cute! And thanks to one-hour photo pickup at local pharmacies, you can do it!

It's not too late to get tickets to the Pittsburgh Pirates game for a family outing. The top pick in the 2011 draft, Gerrit Cole, is scheduled to pitch.

And if you just don't have the money to spend on a Father's Day gift this year, that's OK. Patch reader Ron Carter reminded us what the holiday is really about:

"The best Father's Day ... doesn't come from a store. The whole family walks to Cranberry Park and throws the football or baseball around, plays in the play palace or even tries a little tennis. For me, it's a day to spend with the kids," Carter wrote.
