Giant Eagle Job Openings at Pine Market District

Giant Eagle is looking for a few good men and women, more than a few actually, for its . The grocer has scheduled two job fairs in April to fill approximately 50 jobs. 

The positions include culinary/food preparation, managers, grocery services, meat cutters, deli, and clerk/cashiers. “Customer demand is such that we’ve had to expand our employment opportunities,” said Giant Eagle spokesman Victor Kimmel. 

Both job fairs will be held at the Market District store in the Village of Pine near the intersection of Route 19/Perry Highway and Route 910. The address is 155 Towne Center Drive in Wexford. The first job fair is Sunday April 1 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The second is Saturday, April 21, again from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 

Business has been so brisk that the upscale grocery store is spaces in an empty lot on the western side of the store across from  

The Pine store is the fifth Market District in the Giant Eagle chain. The others are in the South Hills, Shadyside, Robinson and Columbus OH.

The upscale grocery store offers foods from around the world, a wide selection of fresh produce, unique meats and seafood, cooking demonstrations and more.
