First Look: Hilton Garden Inn Officially Open for Business

Take a peek at Cranberry’s newest hotel.

After months of construction, the Hilton Garden Inn along Route 228 and Franklin Road in Cranberry is officially open for business.

The five-story, 136-room hotel began welcoming customers at about 3 p.m. Wednesday. It is owned by Cranberry Woods Hotel Associates and operated and managed by Vista Host, Inc.

“The Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh/Cranberry is conveniently located near several attractions and corporations including Westinghouse, McKesson, Bayer, Alcoa/Traco, and Siemens Corporation,” said Tiffany Jassel, the hotel’s general manager.  “This hotel will be an amazing addition to the Cranberry Township community.

The hotel will hold a grand opening from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 14. That event will include light refreshment and hotel tours. Proceeds from a silent auction at the grand opening will benefit Cranberry CUP, a nonprofit dedicated to helping local families in need.

Featuring a sleek, urban décor, the hotel’s spacious lobby has a waterfall as well as a lounge area with a television and fireplace.

Once inside, the Garden Grille & Bar offers full-cooked-to-order breakfast with omelets, fruit, breads and the hotel’s signature waffle. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner as well as evening room service. The Pavilion Pantry is open 24 hours and holds a wide selection of snacks, treats and cold beverages. There also are prepared, frozen and microwaveable packaged items for guests.

Other amenities include a fitness center, swimming pool and whirlpool. There also is a ballroom and a 280 square-foot executive ballroom.
