In addition, specialty foods and pet products are also available at this event.

The Duquesne Light Home and Garden show started in 1971 with only 130 exhibits and 30,000 attendees. The event has expanded to more than 350,000 viewers, making it the largest home event in Pennsylvania.

This event is not only for those looking to remodel, or build a home, but also for those browsing for unique, new design and decorating ideas.

This year you can enter a Union Army encampment inside the Convention Center and experience first-hand the lifestyle during this time period, incuding food, medicine, experts, artifacts, and more.

Other activities inclulde healthy living ideas for parents, and a synthetic ice rink for kids to enjoy.

More exhibits are added to the show every day. For an updated list of vendors and more information on the Pittsburgh Home & Garden Show, visit www.pghhome.com.
