Cranberry Businesses Among Vendors at Pittsburgh Home & Garden Show

A number of local businesses will have exhibits at the annual show.

Close to a dozen businesses in Cranberry will be among the 1,600 exhibitors from the Pittsburgh area at the Pittsburgh Home & Garden Show from March 1-10 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh.

They are:

  • Direct Buy (Thomson Park Drive): home appliances, décor, furniture, and other items for the home
  • Kohl Heating Services: contracting and heating services company
  • Costco Wholesale(Cranberry Square Drive):  store that carries name brand merchandise at lower prices
  • Solar-Gard of Ohio/PA: company that provides window treatment services
  • GPX Inc. (Progress Ave.): handles simple and complex mold remediation, environmental demolition, industrial maintenance, restoration and construction projects
  • Mr. Rooter Plumbing: Plumbing services
  • Shelf Genie (Windsor Court): offers an extensive line of custom-built, Glide-Out shelves for all areas of your home
  • Fresh Coat Painters
  • General Rental Center (Route 19 ): a full service party and equipment rental store

The Pittsburgh Home & Garden Show is an event where viewers can discover unlimited home and garden ideas while viewing 10,000 home products. During this 10-day event, home goods needed to renovate, build, decorate or landscape a home, building, office or any other important space will be on display in nine acres of space.

In addition, specialty foods and pet products are also available at this event.

The Duquesne Light Home and Garden show started in 1971 with only 130 exhibits and 30,000 attendees. The event has expanded to more than 350,000 viewers, making it the largest home event in Pennsylvania.

This event is not only for those looking to remodel, or build a home, but also for those browsing for unique, new design and decorating ideas. 

This year you can enter a Union Army encampment inside the Convention Center and experience first-hand the lifestyle during this time period, incuding food, medicine, experts, artifacts, and more.

Other activities inclulde healthy living ideas for parents, and a synthetic ice rink for kids to enjoy.
