Community Turns Out for The Chamber’s Neighborhood Business Expo

Monday's event featured more than 130 vendors, including Cranberry Patch

The Chamber of Commerce Inc. —which serves North Pittsburgh, Northern Allegheny and the Cranberry Corridors—held its third annual Neighborhood Business Expo Monday at the Four Points by Sheraton Pittsburgh North in Mars.

Cranberry Patch, Pine-Richland Patch and North Hills Patch joined more than 130 vendors at the expo, which is The Chamber’s largest event of the year. Chamber member Mike Hall, owner ofn Cranberry, acted as master of ceremonies, calling out prize winners and keeping the crowds enthused. 

“It’s a great place to see and be seen,” said Tom Kinlough, store manager at .

About 1,000 people attended the sold-out show. Debbie Crum, business development manager for The Chamber, said the event is popular with vendors because it features food, drinks and plenty of prizes and giveaways.

“It’s not your typical expo,” she said. “It’s kind of like a reunion every year.”
