Christmas in Cranberry: What's Open? What's Closed?
Need to run some last-minute errands? Forgot to grab someone a gift? Hungry? Patch gives you a rundown of local openings and closings for the holiday.
Starbucks: If you’re battling droopy eyes from all last-minute holiday shopping, the Starbucks store in the Cranberry Commons shopping center on Route 228 and the location on Freedom Road are open until 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The coffee Mecca is closed Christmas day.
: The Cranberry hangout is open 365 days a year, and Christmas is no exception. The restaurant typically plans a feast with all the fixings for Christmas Day. As usual, the restaurant opens at 7 a.m. The bar stays open until 2 a.m.
Denny's – the chain is open 24 hours, seven days a week. Christmas Day does not change that.

Convenience stores –Convenience means being open all the time, including Christmas Day. The Sheetz on is open as is the s on Route 19 and which has locations on Glen Eden Road and Route 228.

Giant Eagle: The locations on Route 228 in Seven Fields and on are both open until 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The stores are closed Christmas Day.

Cranberry Township administrative offices on Rochester Road are closed on Dec. 26 and on Jan. 2.
The department will be closed Dec. 26. The department closes at 5 p.m. Dec. 27 through Dec. 30. The gym will be closed Dec. 26 through Dec. 30 for floor refinishing.
Golf widows rejoice: The course is closed Dec. 24 through Jan. 1.

Port Authority of Allegheny County - Saturday schedules in effect Christmas Eve. The customer service phone line will be open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Holiday/Sunday schedules in effect on Christmas Day. Customer Service phone line will be open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Weekday schedules in effect on Monday, however, the Downtown Service Center will be closed in observance of Christmas, and the customer service phone line will be open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
