Andora Restaurant Taking Over Former StonePepper's Grill

The restaurant, which also has locations in Sewickley and Fox Chapel, specializes in fine casual dining.

StonePeppers Grill shut its doors Wednesday after four years in Adams Township, but the building won't be empty for long.

Andora Restaurant, which also has locations in Sewickley and Fox Chapel, is opening a new eatery in the space along Route 228.

Brian Hunter, Andora's director of operations, said he hopes to have the restaurant open by July 10.

"We're so excited to be up here," he said.

Andora specializes in fine casual dining. Hunter said the restaurant is known for its crab cakes.

Construction currently is taking place on the interior of the restaurant. Andora, which is owned by Michael McMullen, also will add an outdoor patio to the property.

Nicole Kredel, assistant manager, said lush, landscaped patios are a signature of Andora restaurants. The Adams location will include a water feature, she said.

"It's going to be amazing," she said.

The restaurant currently is hiring for all positions, including cooks, servers and bartenders.

Applications are being accepted daily at the restaurant between 10 a.m and 3 p.m.
