A Seneca Valley graduate, Barkley opened Eye Kandy in August and quickly became involved in local activities.

In November, she put together a fashion show to benefit Rosie Hope, a charity founded by 11-year-old Charlee Dawson, of Jackson Township. She also has sponsored a “Chick Flick” night at The Strand Theater in Zelienople.
