Cranberry Patch received close to a dozen adorable entrants in the photo submission contest

We have a winner!

The photo Summer Fowler submitted of her daughter, Veronica, holding a Hearts for Hearts doll was selected in a random drawing to win two tickets to see the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's performance of Coppelia this weekend.

The tickets were the prize in Cranberry Patch’s which received close to a dozen adorable entrants of children with their best-loved toy.

Fowler said Rahel, the doll Veronica is holding in the photo, was a present from Victoria’s grandparents for her third birthday. Because Rahel is a Hearts for Hearts doll, which are based on real little girls from around the world, a portion of the proceeds from the doll’s sale goes to Rahel’s home country of Ethiopia.

Fowler, a Cranberry resident, said she is taking Veronica’s older sister, Lucy—whose photo also was featured in the contest—to Friday’s performance of Coppelia.

“She takes ballet now and is super excited to see a professional performance,” Fowler said.

She added this is the first time the family will attend a Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre event.
