Pittsburgh Opera Concert With Jackie Evancho Sold Out

Eleven-year-old singing star to perform Oct. 16.

It didn't take long -- tickets for Jackie Evancho's performance with the Pittsburgh Opera have sold out.

Tickets went on sale to the general public July 25; before that tickets were available only to Pittsburgh Opera subscribers.

Jackie, the 11-year-old singing sensation from Richland Township, will perform at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 16 at the Benedum Center in Pittsburgh.

This will be Jackie’s first live concert in the Pittsburgh area with the orchestra, chorus and the Pittsburgh Opera Resident Artists.

She also is scheduled to appear Aug. 26 in Omaha, NE, and Aug. 31 in Dallas, according to the jackieevancho.com website.
