Ole! Cranberry to Get Spicy with Tango Classes
New dance class to add a taste of salsa to suburban life.
Sure, it takes two to tango, but you don't have to bring a partner to the new dance sessions starting April 11 in the Cranberry Township Municipal Center.
Participants will keep changing partners throughout the recently added eight-week tango class, so singles are welcome.
The tango is believed to have originated in the 1890s along the border between Argentina and Uruguay, a statement from the township said. It soon spread worldwide. Today, there are many forms of the tango as a result of influences acquired during its expansion into Europe, Africa and elsewhere.
