Best in Show: Seneca Valley Students are Video Award Winners

Students in the video production classes earn five awards.

Seneca Valley students are making video magic—and winning awards for it.

Students the high school’s video production classes returned from Robert Morris University’s Annual TVT Student Video Festival on Tuesday, April 30, with five awards.

Senior Mike Lancy won first place in the Documentary category for his film “Behind the Lines,” and the cast and crew of “Seneca Says” won first place in the School Announcements category.

Other winners include:

  • Anthony Peduzzi, junior, in the Imaginative category for his film “Newton”
  • Patrick O’Shea, sophomore, in the Computer Generated Graphics category for his animation about our national debt
  • Noah Gasch, senior, in the News Magazine Category for his video about the wrestling team, “Pain is Temporary, Pride is Forever.”

Students from more than 30 schools in Western Pennsylvania and Ohio submitted videos for judging by RMU video and film faculty.
