Pine-Richland singing sensation Jackie Evancho has something in common with international stars Celine Dion, Elton John and Shania Twain besides a sensational singing voice.
The 12-year-old soprano prodigy is featured among the best-selling artists with the most expensive concert tickets ever sold, according to therichest.com.
Only the average price of the tickets was considered. Concerts that feature various artists were not listed.
After sold-out concerts in New York City with an average ticket price of $624, Jackie, the only pre-teen on the roster, is at No. 5 on the list, beating out veteran performers Twain, Dion and John.
With average ticket prices at $1,073 per pop, Sting is at no. 1 on the most expensive tickets list, followed by “Maggie May” singer Rod Stewart, whose concert sales average a respectable $784 per ticket.
