Hanukkah Warm-up Celebration

An evening of fun, fellowship and holiday fare leading up to the first night of Hanukkah this year will be held in the social room of a townhouse community near Mars.  The evening event, organized by the Cranberry Jewish Community association, will be hosted by one of its members in the Clubhouse at The Gables, a townhouse community along Brickyard Road in Adams Township.  Everyone is welcome.

The evening will be a BYOM event; guests and visitors to the holiday party are asked to bring their own menorahs for a communal practice candle lighting. Candles will be provided along with challah, wine, dreidles, latkes and other traditional holiday fare. The informal Shabbat celebration is open to anyone interested in marking the onset of Hanukkah, which officially begins the following Tuesday evening, December 20.  Admission is $5 per adult, or $3 per child up to age six, payable by check to Ruth Ralston, and mailed to 401 Three Degree Road, Renfrew, PA 16053 no later than December 10.
